POSTION SUMMARY
The Calibration and Test Technician ensures the accuracy and reliability of Thermo Electric's temperature sensors by performing precise testing and calibration activities. This role follows established procedures and quality standards to verify product performance, support production operations, and maintain testing equipment. The technician works closely with manufacturing and quality teams to help ensure products meet functional and performance requirements.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Perform testing and calibration processes according to established procedures and quality standards Operate and maintain calibration laboratory equipment, instruments, and sensors Process calibration tasks and production orders accurately and in a timely manner Track materials and assist with the movement of components through the testing process Record test results and enter data to support product traceability and documentation Maintain tools, equipment, and materials used in testing and calibration activities Create, transfer, and manage documents using Microsoft 365 tools Assist with troubleshooting basic issues with test equipment and instrumentation Communicate testing status and production updates with team members and supervisors Contribute to a positive, collaborative work environment
SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS NEEDED
Required High school diploma or GED 1-3 years of experience in electronics, production testing, or a manufacturing environment Proficiency with Microsoft Office, particularly Outlook and Excel Basic electronics troubleshooting or repair skills Experience using testing or calibration equipment Ability to read and communicate in English (Spanish-speaking team members are welcome and valued) Preferred Associate degree in Electronic Engineering Technology, Electrical Engineering Technology, Precision Measurement Technology, Instrumentation and Control Technology, or a related technical field

Hours:
Standard operating hours are 7 am to 3:30 pm, M-F with voluntary overtime frequently available.
Pay Range:
Starting at $20 and is based on technical skills and experience. You must be 18 years old to apply. Additional Details
