Job Description
Working/Functional Title AVIT Technician II Position Summary The University Repair & Network Technician II will be responsible for providing technical support to more than 350 centrally managed classrooms and additional departmental classrooms and conference rooms. Reporting to the AV/IT Integration Manager, the University Repair & Network Technician II will primarily perform the following duties: Install, configure, maintain, and repair audiovisual equipment, including projectors, displays, audio systems, cameras, control systems, and related technologies. Respond to service requests and troubleshoot hardware and software issues to minimize classroom downtime. Perform preventative maintenance and system upgrades to ensure reliable operation. Support major university events, including Football and Hockey games, conferences, VIP events, and other campus functions.
