Up to $65.00-$79.00 / hr Position Overview We are seeking an experienced CAD (Computer-Aided Design) Engineer to join our team on a project basis. In this role, you will be responsible for analyzing and understanding proprietary CADAM files and associated engineering documentation, extracting key component data, and mapping entities directly to Bill of Materials (BOM) specifications.

Key Responsibilities & Scope of Services Data Extraction & Analysis:

Analyze and understand proprietary CADAM files and associated engineering documentation.

Component & Assembly Mapping:

Extract component, assembly, and attribute information from CADAM drawings while rigorously preserving hierarchical relationships and metadata.

Methodology Support:

Develop or support methodologies to retain engineering data structures during extraction and conversion processes.

BOM Alignment:

Identify and map CAD entities, blocks, attributes, and assembly relationships to corresponding BOM specifications.

Documentation & Knowledge Transfer:

Deliver process flows, mentor and transfer knowledge to client project team members, and participate as a primary, co-, and/or contributing author on project deliverables.

Solution Advisory:

Provide best practices, industry-specific solutions, "out of the box" alternative solutions, and hands-on technical configuration/development as needed.
