Golf Robotics and Automation Technician Position Overview We are seeking a skilled and motivated Golf Robotics and Automation Technician to join our service team. This role is responsible for the installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of advanced robotic machinery at customer sites including golf courses and country clubs. The position will be the front-line representative of our company, ensuring that our automated systems operate efficiently and that our customers receive exceptional service and support. Key Responsibilities Perform installation, commissioning, and calibration of robotic machinery and automation equipment at customer locations. Conduct routine maintenance, inspections, and software updates to ensure maximum system uptime. Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and software-related issues. Utilize diagnostic tools, service manuals, and remote support resources to resolve technical problems. Train customers and operators on the safe use, care, and troubleshooting of robotic systems. Document and bill all service activities, including parts used, issues resolved, and customer interactions, in service reports. Collaborate with engineering, training, and customer support teams to escalate and resolve complex issues. Maintain a professional appearance and uphold company values while representing the brand in the field. Travel regularly to customer sites Qualifications 2+ years of field service, robotics, or heavy equipment experience (mechanical/electrical background required). Equipment Manager or Equipment Technician for Golf Courses Strong understanding of robotics, automation systems, PLCs, and electronics. Proficiency in reading schematics, wiring diagrams, and technical manuals. Hands-on mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills. Ability to work independently and in high-pressure, customer-facing environments. Strong communication skills for customer training and support. Willingness to travel extensively (up to 75%). Valid driver's license and clean driving record. Preferred Skills Experience with robotic turf equipment, agricultural automation, or industrial robotics. Familiarity with diagnostic software, remote support tools, and telemetry systems. Basic programming or software troubleshooting experience. OSHA, safety, or industry-specific certifications.
