We are looking for highly motivated powertrain calibration engineers to deliver fuel economy, emissions, OBD, and drivability attributes on many different internal combustion and hybrid powertrain programs. What you'll do... + Calibration and development of leading edge aftertreatment technologies for PM, NOx, HC, and CO reduction for gasoline powertrains to meet global emissions and OBD requirements + Evaluate and assess vehicle attributes (performance, fuel economy, emissions, diagnostics, NVH) on vehicles and engine dynamometer test cells + Modify powertrain control calibrations to improve fuel economy, performance, emissions, and diagnostics + Design and conduct tests to validate engine and vehicle fuel economy, performance, emissions, and diagnostics + Conduct vehicle testing and development at remote locations in Arizona, Colorado, and Northern Canada
- The minimum requirements we seek:
- + Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related field + 2+ years of experience in Powertrain Calibration + 1+ years' experience with one more of the following software tools: ETAS, ATI, or MATLAB
- Our preferred qualifications:
- + Master's Degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related field + 5+ years of experience in Powertrain Calibration + Strong understanding and experience with Accurate Technologies, Inc.
