Overtime:

15+ hours every week

Pay:

$27 to $40 per hour (based on ribbon experience) (up to $44 based on high count cable and data center experience)

Per Diem:

$200/day paid 7 days per week

6 month Contract-to-Hire We're adding experienced ribbon fiber splicers for ongoing fiber work in a hyperscale data center environment. The work is heavily focused on ribbon splicing and fiber testing, so we're looking for guys with hands on ribbon experience who are comfortable with OTDR testing and troubleshooting. Data center experience is a plus, but strong ribbon experience is what matters. What You'll Be Doing High volume ribbon fiber splicing using mass fusion splicers OTDR testing and troubleshooting Verifying splices and identifying loss or issues when they come up Keeping accurate splice and testing documentation Working efficiently to stay on production and meet project deadlines Following site safety and quality requirements What We're Looking For 2+ years of hands-on ribbon fiber splicing experience Experience with mass fusion splicing Solid hands-on OTDR testing experience Comfortable troubleshooting fiber when issues come up Able to consistently work a 5x12 hour schedule or more when needed Willing to travel and work a 3 weeks on / 1 week off rotation Data center experience is a plus Pay, Hours & Per Diem Typically 15+ hours of overtime each week $200/day per diem paid all 7 days while in market Steady project with strong hours Opportunity to convert full time with the client Referral bonuses available This is a strong opportunity for experienced splicers looking for consistent hours, good money, and steady work.
