JOB SUMMARY

Join DEWETRON and work hands-on with advanced data acquisition and test & measurement equipment used in demanding engineering applications. As a Calibration & Electronics Technician, you will calibrate, test, troubleshoot, maintain, and repair electronic measurement systems while helping ensure the accuracy and reliability our customers depend on. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys hands-on electronics, problem solving, precision measurement, and learning specialized technical equipment. You will also support hardware and software configuration and contribute to calibration documentation and quality requirements, including

practices.

will provide product-specific training on our data acquisition and measurement systems. Relevant experience can come from calibration, electronics testing, instrumentation, equipment repair, field service, avionics, metrology, or other hands-on test & measurement environments.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Calibrate and verify electronic measurement instruments and data acquisition systems.
• Perform routine maintenance, testing, troubleshooting, and repair of measurement equipment.
• Analyze calibration and measurement data to verify accuracy, consistency, and equipment performance.
• Identify out-of-tolerance conditions and assist with adjustments, correction factors, or other appropriate corrective actions.
• Maintain secondary and working calibration standards and support traceable calibration practices.
• Prepare accurate calibration records, reports, and certificates.
• Develop and follow measurement and calibration procedures.
• Install, configure, and maintain hardware components
• Diagnose and resolve hardware and software issues involving data acquisition instruments and related computer systems.
• Use a variety of electronic test and measurement equipment in support of calibration and service activities.
• Provide technical support and product guidance to customers and internal departments as experience develops.
• Support the laboratory's

quality practices and documentation requirements.

• Perform other related duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS

• 2-3 years of hands-on experience troubleshooting, servicing, repairing, calibrating and/or testing electronic equipment.
• Strong electronics troubleshooting and technical problem-solving skills, with the ability to diagnose hardware and software issues involving electronic instruments and computer-based measurement systems.
• Ability to read and follow technical documentation, service procedures, calibration procedures, and written work instructions.
• Comfortable installing and configuring computer hardware and Windows-based software.
• Strong attention to detail with the ability to accurately document service, test, and calibration results.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team, manage multiple priorities, and communicate effectively with customers and internal departments.

PREFERRED EXPERIENCE

• Associates in Electrical Engineering, Electrical Engineering Technology, Electronics Technology, or a related technical discipline.
• Previous experience with calibration and measurement systems.
• Experience servicing or repairing electronic test and measurement equipment.
• Experience with data acquisition systems or similar computer-based measurement equipment.
• Familiarity with

ISO/IEC 17025

calibration laboratory standards.

• Experience with automated calibration software.
• Experience with statistical analysis, measurement uncertainty, or calibration data interpretation.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS AND WORK ENVIRONMENT

• Frequently required to stand, walk, and sit.
• Regular use of hands and fingers to operate equipment and tools.
• Occasionally required to bend, stoop, kneel, or reach.
• Must occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
