By mastering CNC laser systems and interpreting complex technical schematics, you will drive the efficiency and quality of our manufacturing output. Responsibilities Configure and manage CNC laser cutting systems to ensure optimal production output and material utilization. Translate engineering blueprints and technical drawings into finished metal products with high precision. Manage material handling processes, including loading raw stock and clearing finished components from the cutting bed. Validate part integrity by utilizing precision inspection tools such as calipers and micrometers to ensure adherence to strict tolerances. Proactively calibrate machine parameters to maximize throughput and minimize waste. Execute preventative maintenance routines and troubleshoot mechanical performance to reduce equipment downtime. Maintain a high-standard, organized workspace while documenting production progress and quality metrics. Collaborate with the production team to streamline workflows and achieve daily manufacturing targets. Qualifications Required Skills Proven experience in operating CNC laser cutting machinery. Proficiency in reading and interpreting mechanical blueprints and technical specifications. Hands-on experience with precision measuring instruments for quality assurance. Strong analytical mindset with the ability to solve technical problems on the fly. Commitment to maintaining a safe work environment and following industrial safety protocols. Preferred Skills Prior exposure to CNC programming languages or advanced machine control interfaces. Certification or experience in operating overhead cranes or industrial forklifts. Background in metal fabrication or high-volume manufacturing environments. Basic mathematical aptitude for calculating offsets and material dimensions.
