Multi Craft Maintenance - Electrical and Mechanical Required
Job Description
Key Responsibilities We are looking for an experienced Light Industrial Maintenance Technician, with equal experience in both mechanical and electrical maintenance. The hourly pay will be $33-$35 hourly, based on experience. Promote a strong safety and environmental culture by following safety procedures, participating in incident investigations, identifying root causes, and taking immediate action to correct unsafe conditions. Perform preventative and predictive maintenance to minimize equipment downtime and improve reliability. Maintain accurate maintenance records, reports, logs, and computerized maintenance systems. Enter, manage, and close work orders using the Advanced Maintenance Management System (AMMS). Manage spare parts inventory, assist with min/max inventory levels, and ensure unused parts are properly returned to inventory. Perform scheduled preventative maintenance and identify opportunities to improve PM schedules, procedures, checklists, and completion times. Work closely with Process Engineers, Maintenance personnel, and Machine Operators to troubleshoot equipment issues, identify root causes, and prevent recurring problems. Support equipment upgrades, capital projects, process changes, trials, and continuous improvement initiatives. Troubleshoot and repair equipment using programmable logic controllers (PLCs) and electrical testing equipment. Perform instrumentation calibration and equipment rebuilds. Complete a variety of maintenance tasks, including welding, brazing, fabrication, sheet metal work, pipe fitting, lubrication, painting, conduit installation, soldering, measuring, and calibration. Perform other maintenance-related duties as assigned by the supervisor. Required Qualifications High school diploma/GED with 5 years of manufacturing multi-craft maintenance experience , OR 5 years of military experience in a technical field, OR Associate's degree in a technical field with 2 years of manufacturing experience. CMRT certification required. Proficiency with Microsoft Office and computerized maintenance management systems required. Ability to work any shift, including weekends, holidays, and overtime. Ability to lift and move up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods. Ability to bend, squat, kneel, climb stairs and ladders, and perform other physical job requirements. Ability and willingness to operate a forklift. Strong organizational and time-management skills. Machining experience and skills preferred.
