Process Technician (Night Shift)
Location:
Duncan, SC Schedule:
2/2/3 Night Shift (7:00 PM - 7:00 AM)
Compensation:
$25.00 - $30.00/hour + Shift Premium + Overtime + Bonus Potential Position Overview We are seeking a Process Technician to support production operations within a growing manufacturing facility. This role is responsible for maintaining equipment uptime, troubleshooting production issues, and ensuring efficient, high-quality manufacturing processes. The ideal candidate will bring strong mechanical aptitude, hands-on troubleshooting experience, and the ability to respond effectively in a fast-paced production environment. This position offers a clear path for technical growth and advancement within the organization. Key Responsibilities Provide daily technical support to assigned production lines to ensure optimal performance and minimal downtime Troubleshoot and resolve mechanical and basic electrical issues in a timely manner Perform equipment setup, changeovers, and process adjustments as needed Execute preventive maintenance (TPM) activities and support continuous improvement initiatives Monitor and document downtime, identify root causes, and implement corrective actions Collaborate with operators, maintenance, and engineering teams to improve process efficiency and product quality Assist with new product introductions and process validation activities Ensure adherence to safety, quality, and operational standards Required Qualifications Associates Degree or higher in Mechatronics, Mechanical Engineering Technology, Electrical Technology, or a related field Minimum of 2 years of experience in a manufacturing, production, or technical support environment Demonstrated experience with mechanical troubleshooting and equipment setup Basic understanding of electrical systems (e.g., multimeter usage, motors, sensors) Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to work effectively under pressure Ability to work independently as well as part of a cross-functional team Preferred Qualifications Experience with preventive maintenance programs (TPM) and downtime tracking Familiarity with lean manufacturing principles and continuous improvement methodologies Work Environment This position operates primarily in a manufacturing environment and requires frequent interaction with production equipment, tools, and machinery. Candidates must be comfortable working on the production floor and supporting off-shift operations as needed.
