Electronics Technician Job Description We are seeking an experienced Electronics Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have proven hands-on experience with PCB soldering, including both through-hole and surface mount components. A background in electrical assembly within Military (MIL-SPEC) or Medical (Class III) standards is essential. Familiarity with IPC standards, particularly J-STD-001, is preferred. This role requires experience with quality inspection and maintaining high workmanship standards, as well as the ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and schematics. Knowledge of ESD protocols and working in controlled environments is also crucial. Responsibilities Perform PCB soldering with both through-hole and surface mount components. Conduct electrical assembly in accordance with Military (MIL-SPEC) or Medical (Class III) standards. Inspect quality and maintain high workmanship standards. Read and interpret engineering drawings and schematics. Apply knowledge of ESD protocols in controlled environments. Work within cleanroom environments to ensure product quality. Essential Skills Soldering expertise. Knowledge of electronics and testing equipment. Ability to interpret schematics and use a multimeter. Proficiency in wiring and electrical testing. Experience in engineering and PCB assembly troubleshooting. Additional Skills & Qualifications Exposure to laser welding. Experience with CNC or robotic equipment. Familiarity with ERP/MRP systems. Understanding of ISO 9001 or ISO standards. Proficiency in Microsoft Office. Ability to follow established processes and procedures. Work Environment Our work environment includes a cleanroom setting with a small, collaborative team. This position is for the 1st shift, Monday through Friday from 8 am to 5 pm, with a 1-hour lunch break. Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Goose Creek, SC.
