Lead Low Voltage Fiber Technician - Spartanburg, SC Join Next Level Technician as a Lead Low Voltage Fiber Technician in Spartanburg, SC! Earn $22-$35/hr, enjoy weekly pay, benefits, and the opportunity to build your career on a long-term data center project with one of our premier partners. We're looking for technicians with a solid fiber foundation who are eager to continue growing their skills.

Responsibilities:

Pull, route, dress, and label fiber optic cable throughout a new construction data center Terminate fiber connectors including LC, SC, MPO, and other connector types Perform fusion splicing and maintain splice documentation Test fiber using OTDRs, OLTS, power meters, and light sources Troubleshoot fiber connectivity and resolve deficiencies Install fiber trunks, jumpers, patch panels, cassettes, racks, and fiber enclosures Read and interpret blueprints and fiber routing drawings Maintain accurate labeling and documentation throughout the project Follow all OSHA and jobsite safety requirements while maintaining clean, professional installations

Requirements:

2+ years of commercial fiber optic installation experience Experience pulling, terminating, testing, and/or fusion splicing fiber optic cable Foundation in the full fiber installation process with a willingness to continue learning Ability to read blueprints and installation drawings OSHA 10 Certification (Required) Valid Driver's License (must have ID available for data center access) Basic low voltage hand tools Full PPE (hard hat, safety glasses, high-visibility vest, steel-toe boots) Ability to pass a drug screen and background check Why Work with Next Level Technician in Spartanburg, SC?
