RME - Mechanical & Robotics Technician Job Description As a Maintenance Technician III, you will lead service technicians on the team in the installation and repair of automated packaging and distribution equipment. You will support the Operations Maintenance team by designing solutions for difficult problems and managing projects. Responsibilities Troubleshoot and repair electrical, mechanical, and pneumatic systems. Lead the installation and repair of automated packaging and distribution equipment. Design solutions for complex problems and manage maintenance projects. Complete preventative maintenance on electrical and mechanical systems. Read and interpret blueprints and electrical schematics. Ensure adherence to MHE safety standards in line with OEM and safety regulations. Essential Skills Proficiency in troubleshooting and repairing electrical, mechanical, and pneumatic systems. Experience with automated conveyors systems. Knowledge of Allen-Bradley PLC troubleshooting. Familiarity with three-phase electrical systems and motor repair. Experience with Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS). Additional Skills & Qualifications High school or equivalent diploma. 1+ years of experience with Microsoft Office products. 4+ years of experience in predictive and preventative maintenance. 4+ years of experience with material handling equipment repair. 3+ years of experience in troubleshooting MHE systems. Work Environment Work in a large distribution facility equipped with high-speed automation and robotic components. Be prepared to walk 10,000 steps per day and lift weights up to 49 lbs. Performance is tracked by data and numbers to ensure expectations are met. Candidates must be open to working any 10-hour shift, as positions are available for all shifts. Job Type & Location This is a Contract position based out of Spartanburg, SC. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $42.65 - $42.65/hr.
