Job Description
Overview As a Data Technician, you will be responsible for pulling, testing, and terminating CAT5e/6a and or Fiber Optic cabling, installing cable support structures as well as various kinds of A/V, security, and/or DAS devices on a commercial construction site. Responsibilities Be responsible for pulling, testing, and terminating CAT5e/6a and/or Fiber Optic cabling on an active construction site Install various kinds of devices such as speakers, projectors, displays, WAPs, card readers, access control devices (strikes, locks, or crash bars), transmitters, receivers, and DAS equipment. Attend mandatory safety meetings, as well as maintain strict adherence to company and client safety standards. Accurately label cabling consistent with PM or foreman instruction Assist other team members whenever necessary to efficiently complete the installation Adhere to company policies and established procedures Qualifications 6-months experience as a commercial low-voltage technician Possess a High School Diploma or GED Have their own reliable transportation to and from the jobsite Pass a background check and drug test Be able to work dayshifts, nights, or weekends, if needed As an EEO/Affirmative Action Employer all qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, national origin, disability, veteran status.
