 FLEMING LAURA Purpose Perform advanced electric and electronic maintenance inspections, diagnosis, repairs and equipment improvements, providing permanent support in emergencies, in a safe and efficient manner according to applicable procedures and best practices, complying with defined quality standards. Main Responsibilities Commit with health, safety and environmental policies and notify situations that present potential risk. Ensure product quality complying with defined standards and reporting deviations. Carry out duties in an efficient manner meeting productivity and efficiency standards in accordance with minimum costs. Perform activities according to applicable procedures. Complete and update all applicable records ensuring information accuracy and product traceability. Ensure proper use of the company assets, detecting and reporting malfunctioning. Attend and collaborate in training activities to maintain and increase the company knowledge. Proactively suggest improvements and participate in continuous improvement activities. Maintain a clean and ordered workplace. Perform activities understanding their consequences on the global process. Abide by Tenaris discipline norms. Main Activities Inspects, diagnoses and performs advanced electric and electronic repairs, replacements and upgrades. Follows up repairs ensuring the performed work effectiveness. Makes failure analysis, establishing the problems' root causes and taking actions to avoid repetitions. Carries out repairs and improvements on large electrical engines, low and mid voltage panels and protection systems. Intervenes in sensors control loops and in variable speed drives. Interprets electrical drawings. Calibrates and performs adjustments in electronic instruments and industrial PCs. Verifies and ensures the availability of resources and spare parts needed for the execution of programmed tasks. Verifies the correct functioning of tools, instruments and accessories checking they fulfill with specifications. Cooperates with the Base Group in preventive activities. Interacts with other areas. Carries out forklift or radio control overhead crane operation when applicable. Updates information in the maintenance systems and performs maintenance reports. Profile (Minimum requirements) Completed High School or 5 years of experience in the company or entry level exam approved.
