Mobile Robot Process Technician, Megafactory Tesla Motors, Inc. paid holidays, flex time, 401(k) United States, Texas, Brookshire Apr 09, 2026 What to Expect Tesla iscurrently hiring a skilled AMR Technician to support our Production ControlOperations . This individual willbe responsible for mapping, monitoring,andmaintainingthe Autonomous Mobile Robot (AMR) fleet, ensuring uninterrupted material movement across production areas. The role involves executingAMR deployment,operational checks, troubleshooting software and hardware issues, improving fleet efficiency, and upholding the accuracy and reliability of our automated material flow systems.

Perform other duties as assigned to support production and material flowoperations. What You'll Do Monitor andoperatethe Autonomous Mobile Robot (AMR) fleet to ensure continuous 24x7 material flow operations Perform first-level troubleshooting on AMR hardware and software, document incidents accurately, and provide operational feedback in Tesla's tracking systems,and quicklyresolve operational issues Identifyand escalate complex issues to Process Engineers, Maintenance Technicians, or Software Support teams as needed Conductroutinemaintenance tasks such as sensor cleaningandhardware inspections Use fleet management systems and dashboards tomonitorAMR performance, mission status, and system health Collaborate with PIV Material Handlers and Production teams to ensureaccurate, on-time material delivery whilemaintaininghigh safety standards and 5S discipline across all AMR operating zones Suggest process and system improvements to enhance fleet efficiency, reduce downtime, and streamline operations What You'll Bring Degree in Mechatronics, Robotics, Automation, Industrial Technology, or a related technical field preferred, or equivalent experience Strong technical aptitude with a basic understanding of robotic systems Experience with AMR, AGV, or other mobile automation systems preferred Proven ability to troubleshoot and adaptinfast-paced, dynamic manufacturing environments Analytical thinker with a continuous improvement mindset and attention to detail Effective communication skills for cross-functional collaboration and escalation Essential Physical Demands Ability to perform physically demanding work for extended periods of time, up to 12 hours a day Ability to stand and walk for up to 12 hours/day, including over varied and uneven terrain Frequently and repetitively, lift, push and carry up to 35 lbs., including the ability to carry 20 lbs. up and down stairs Frequently and repetitively, bend, lift and reach to install parts Stoop, lay, bend, reach, squat, kneel, crouch,twistand crawl for extended periods of time, including up to 12 hours/day Climb andmaintainbalance on ladders, scaffolding or other high structures Ability to find issues in a work process and receive safety signals using sight, touch, and hearing Wearing Personal Protective Equipment, including but not limitedto:safety glasses, safety shoes, bump caps, arm protection, and adheringto prescribed safety rules and guidelines Compensation and Benefits Benefits Along with competitive pay, as a full-time Tesla employee, you are eligible for the following benefits at day 1 of hire: Medical plans > plan options with $0 payroll deduction Family-building, fertility, adoption and surrogacy benefits Dental (including orthodontic coverage) and vision plans, both have options with a $0 paycheck contribution Company Paid (Health Savings Accounts) HSA Contribution when enrolled in the High-Deductible medical plan with HSA Healthcare and Dependent Care Flexible Spending Accounts (FSA) 401(k) with employer match, Employee Stock Purchase Plans, and other financial benefits Company paid Basic Life, AD&D Short-term and long-term disability insurance (90 day waiting period) Employee Assistance Program Sick and Vacation time (Flex time for salary positions, Accrued hours for Hourly positions), and Paid Holidays Back-up childcare and parenting support resources Voluntary benefits to include: critical illness, hospital indemnity, accident insurance, theft & legal services, and pet insurance Weight Loss and Tobacco Cessation Programs Tesla Babies program Commuter benefits Employee discounts and perks program
