What you'll do: Perform preventative maintenance on generators Diagnostics and repairs of mechanical and electrical systems on generators Service/repair generators, change air filters, change oil, check battery levels, check spark plugs, etc. Involved in installation hook-up of home standby generators When necessary, provide after-hour emergency troubleshooting/repairs Work independently or with a small crew What you'll bring: 2+ years working on generators in the residential or commercial setting Air/liquid cooled certificate is preferred. (Generac, Kohler, Briggs and Stratton, Cummins, etc..) Small engine repairs Basic electrical knowledge Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. frequently Valid driver's license •This job is with an independent Generac channel partner and not for employment with Generac Power Systems, Inc.
