Job Description
Job Description Insight Global is seeking experienced Structures Mechanics / Composite Technicians to join a growing aviation repair organization in Cedar Hill, Texas. This company is a subsidiary of one of the industry's leading aircraft maintenance and repair organizations and has recently integrated with an established and highly successful repair station in the Dallas-Fort Worth area. This individual will be responsible for performing structural and composite repairs on aircraft components and assemblies in a Part 145 repair station environment. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience performing composite repairs, damage removal, inspections, fabrication, and structural restoration work in a maintenance and repair setting rather than an OEM or manufacturing environment. - Perform composite and structural repairs on aircraft components and assemblies
- Conduct technician-level inspections to identify damage and required repairs
- Remove damaged material and prepare repair areas for restoration
- Perform composite layups, bonding, trimming, sanding, and finishing operations
- Complete sheet metal fabrication and structural repair activities as needed
- Read and interpret engineering drawings, repair manuals, and technical documentation
- Ensure all repairs are completed in compliance with FAA and company quality standards

https://insightglobal.com/workforce-privacy-policy/. Skills and Requirements- Minimum 3 years of hands-on experience performing aircraft structures or composite repairs
- Experience working in a Part 145 Repair Station environment
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent
- Ability to pass a pre-employment background check and drug screening
- Experience performing composite structural repairs, inspections, damage removal, and repair procedures
- Ability to read and interpret technical repair documentation
- Experience performing both composite and sheet metal repairs
- Aircraft structural repair experience within maintenance, modification, or repair environments
