Job Description

Owner-managed property management company seeking a skilled and dependable Make Ready Technician to join our team at a 240-unit apartment community in Corpus Christi, TX. This role is essential in preparing vacant apartments for new residents by ensuring each unit meets company standards for quality, safety, and comfort. Responsibilities Inspection & Assessment
  • Conduct detailed inspections of vacant apartments to determine necessary repairs and maintenance.
  • Evaluate appliances, fixtures, and systems for functionality and condition. Repairs & Maintenance
  • Perform general repairs, including basic plumbing, electrical, and carpentry work.
  • Replace or repair fixtures, appliances, flooring, and hardware as needed.
  • Ensure HVAC, plumbing, and electrical systems are operational and safe. Collaboration
  • Work with property management and maintenance team to prioritize and complete make-ready tasks.
  • Communicate major repair needs requiring specialized services. Documentation
  • Maintain records of repairs, replacements, and completed tasks.
  • Monitor and report inventory needs for supplies and equipment. Qualifications
  • Minimum 1 year of apartment maintenance or related experience required.
  • Working knowledge of plumbing, electrical, and HVAC systems.
  • Strong attention to detail with problem-solving abilities.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks.
  • Effective communication skills and a customer-focused attitude.
  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation. Physical Requirements
  • Ability to lift/move up to 50 lbs.
  • Comfortable working both indoors and outdoors in varying conditions.
  • Proficiency with tools and equipment related to apartment maintenance. Benefits

Friday:
8:30 AM - 5:30 PM
  • Seven paid holidays annually.

  • Flexibility to work occasional weekends or after-hours during peak turnover periods.
Pay:
$16.00 - $18.00 per hour
