Responsibilities:
  • Perform routine and preventive maintenance on equipment and machinery to ensure optimal operation.
  • Have welding skills for fabrication in Dairy Solutions shop and on dairy farm stainless steel welding.
  • Inspect, troubleshoot, and repair mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems throughout the facility.
  • Respond promptly to maintenance requests and emergencies to minimize downtime.
  • Use hand and power tools safely and effectively to complete assigned tasks.
  • Replace worn or defective parts and maintain accurate records of repairs and maintenance activities.
  • Assist with installation, assembly, and moving of equipment as needed.
  • Monitor inventory and request necessary supplies and spare parts.
  • Ensure all work is performed in accordance with safety regulations and company standards.
  • Collaborate with other team members and departments to support facility operations.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization in work areas and storage spaces.
  • Identify opportunities for improvement in maintenance processes and procedures.
  • Also work in building of new dairy facilities, running electrical line, refrigeration line, welding stainless steel lines for milk flow.
Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Previous experience in maintenance, repair, or related field preferred.
  • Basic knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems.
  • Ability to read and interpret manuals, diagrams, and work orders.
  • Familiarity with hand and power tools and their safe use.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Physical ability to lift heavy objects, climb ladders, and work in various environments.
  • Good communication skills and ability to work independently or as part of a team.
  • Willingness to follow established safety practices and procedures.
  • Flexibility to work varying shifts, including occasional weekends or evenings.
