The Tech A conducts, maintains, tests and repairs electrical/electronic components, at an advanced level. 1st
Shift:
6:00AM - 2:30PM, Monday-Friday Duties and Responsibilities Tests, diagnoses, and repairs electronic components. Analyzes issues down to the component level. Resolves intricate technical challenges through troubleshooting. Able to interpret sophisticated schematics. Provides training and support to other Technicians in repair processes. Comply with quality performance standards. Maintains the work area and equipment in a clean and orderly condition. Responsible for following warehouse safety regulations. All other duties assigned, based on the business the warehouse supports. Required Skills and Experience 2+ years as a proficient electronics technician. Required to pass a Technical Aptitude Test, when applicable. Thorough comprehension of various technology systems and applications, including in-depth knowledge of electronic circuit componentry and theory. Proficient in utilizing test equipment. Skilled in soldering and de-soldering techniques. Utilize analytical thinking and robust problem-solving skills to troubleshoot down to the component level. Handling Hard Drive devices and keeping ESD policy standards. Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously. Comfortable working autonomously and in a team environment. Thoroughness and attention to detail in task completion. Proficiency in computer skills required for precise data entry of completed units. Preferred Skills and Experience Time-management skills. Eagerness for continuous learning. Written and verbal communication skills. Educational Requirements Minimum of a 2-year Electronics degree, equivalent Electronics certification, or equivalent work experience. Physical Demands and Working Conditions Warehouse environment. The ability to lift, push and/or pull up to 50 lbs., if necessary. The ability to stand and walk for an extended period of time, if necessary. The ability to bend, push, pull, twist, and reach in a continuous/repetitive capacity, if necessary. You will love working in our family-oriented company!
