•Travel up to 75% of the time. Travel to Vendor locations and sites. Develop repair specifications for all pumps, motors, valves and traveling water screens used at the SPR sites. Supervise off site teardown and inspection of equipment condition to develop a repair plan and determine measures to improve equipment performance and reliability Prepare complete scopes of work for on site and off site repairs according to SPR specifications and defining the repair work required as indicated by the as found condition of the equipment. Supervise repairs of SPR equipment at subcontractor facilities to ensure that contract and quality assurance requirements are met. Review repair contracts to insure subcontractors meet SPR requirements and specifications. Modify scopes of work as necessary to insure an acceptable repair job and a timely delivery of repaired equipment. Manage several repair projects concurrently. Provide consultation and technical support to site personnel with responsibility for acting independently on technical matters for repair of mechanical equipment. Analyze data and equipment condition with special attention to failure analysis of rotating equipment. Perform trouble shooting and problem failure analysis; take corrective action to improve efficiency and reliability of SPR equipment including, rotating equipment, valves and traveling water screens. Inspections and technical evaluations of subcontractor repair shops, including personnel qualifications, shop equipment, quality assurance, environmental regulations, safety equipment and the proper use thereof. Advise MOC/QA in equipment repair procedures to develop hold points for in progress inspections. Evaluate on an ongoing basis the effectiveness of established mechanical equipment maintenance and repair procedures. Recommend revisions to maintenance procedures and techniques to improve quality, reliability and efficiency.

Review and evaluate spare parts availability in SPR stock for rotating equipment and recommend additional parts to be stocked to meet drawdown requirements.

Train site maintenance on proper trouble shooting procedures and methods to correct problems identified.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
Degreed candidates will be titled Sr Maintenance Engineer(Rotating Equipment)
REQUIRED
Bachelors degree in Engineering and 8 years or HS diploma and 15 years in rotating equipment installation, maintenance and trouble shooting. Extensive knowledge of machine shop practices, quality control procedures, rotating equipment repair methods, machine tools, dynamic balancing and vibration analysis. Experience in administration and/or supervision of facility maintenance. Must possess good supervisory skills and proficiency in technical evaluation and writing repair specifications. Good written and oral communication skills essential. Must be proficient with personal computer and basic software. Must possess good leadership and communication skills and the ability to coordinate programs and train personnel.
