Electrical Technician / Mechanical Technician

Job Summary We are seeking a proactive and skilled Electrical Technician / Mechanical Technician In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring the optimal operation, troubleshooting, and repair of complex electrical and mechanical systems within manufacturing or industrial environments. Your expertise will help maintain high standards of safety, efficiency, and reliability across various production processes. Responsibilities Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on electrical and mechanical equipment, ensuring minimal downtime and maximum productivity. Read and interpret schematics, wiring diagrams, and technical manuals to troubleshoot issues effectively. Calibrate sensors, vision inspection systems, and other precision measuring instruments to ensure accurate operation. Maintain and repair automation components such as PLCs (Programmable Logic Controllers), distributed control systems (DCS), CNC machinery, and calibration devices. Diagnose electrical problems using tools like ohmmeters, multimeters, and other diagnostic instruments; work with low voltage and high voltage systems safely. Conduct field service activities including installation, commissioning, upgrades, and troubleshooting of industrial equipment in manufacturing settings. Collaborate with engineering teams on system improvements using AutoCAD drawings or schematics; support manufacturing operations by ensuring equipment meets quality standards. Support safety protocols by adhering to electrical codes and regulations; assist in training team members on proper maintenance procedures. Requirements Proven experience as an industrial electrician or mechanical technician with a strong background in industrial maintenance. sensors, calibration techniques, and vision inspection systems used in manufacturing environments. Familiarity with programmable logic controllers (PLCs), distributed control systems (DCS), CNC machines, and Calypso software is highly desirable. Ability to read schematics accurately and utilize precision measuring instruments such as ohmmeters for diagnostics. Experience working with high voltage (HV) and low voltage (LV) electrical systems safely in field service roles. Mechanical knowledge related to industrial machinery including pumps, motors, gearboxes, and automation components. Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate technical information clearly to team members or clients. Experience working within military-grade or highly regulated environments is a plus. Proficiency in AutoCAD for system layout or modifications is advantageous.
