Job Description

Akkodis is seeking an Electronics Technician III for a Contract job with a client in Grand Prairie, TX . The ideal candidate must have extensive hands?on experience in advanced avionics and electronic troubleshooting, including component?level diagnostics and repair.
Rate Range:
$30/hour to $33/hour (W2) ; The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors. Electronics Technician III job responsibilities include: Perform advanced troubleshooting, testing, and repair of avionics and electronic systems at both system and component levels. Interpret and follow wiring diagrams, schematics, and technical maintenance manuals (CMM/SRM). Conduct functional, environmental, and performance testing using tools such as oscilloscopes, multimeters, and signal generators. Execute disassembly, inspection, repair, and reassembly of electronic assemblies in compliance with aviation standards. Document all repair and testing activities in ERP/MES systems to ensure traceability and compliance. Support root cause analysis and failure investigations, partnering with engineering to improve processes and reliability.
Desired Qualifications:
High School Diploma or GED (Associate degree in Electronics or related field preferred). 5-10+ years of experience in avionics, aerospace, or high?reliability electronics environments. Strong expertise in electronic diagnostics, troubleshooting, and bench-level repair. Ability to read and interpret complex technical schematics and documentation. Experience using precision measurement and test equipment. Ability to work independently with minimal supervision. Strong documentation, analytical, and communication skills.
Preferred:
Experience in aerospace MRO or defense environments Familiarity with FAA regulations (Part 145, Part 43) Certifications such as FCC License or
NCATT AET

Pay Details:
