Job Description

You'll make a difference by: Maintaining quality of high custom and sophisticated products for Electrical Products; testing and inspecting Low Voltage Switchgear and Switchboards to applicable standards (i.e. UL1558, UL891, IEEE, etc) Use multi meter and electronic theory to verify power readings and circuit design to ensure accurate wiring and operation. Use Hipot, test card, hand tools and various other tools to aid in testing. Use specialized software for testing/inspecting when required (i.e. Siemens WinPM, Step 7, MicroWin, WinC Flexible, SAP, etc.) Perform inspections/audits of mechanical and electrical assemblies. Maintain and input records or reports related to testing/inspecting activities. You'll win us over by having the following qualifications:
Basic Qualifications:
High School Diploma/GED 2+ years exposure to electrical components or knowledge of electrical components. Ability/Experience testing and fixing; strong problem solving. Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications. Microsoft Office skills (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook) Excellent organizational, communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills. Excellent problem-solving skills, and a strong work ethic. Legally authorized to work in the United States on a continual and permanent basis without company sponsorship
Preferred Qualifications:
Associate Degree. 2+ years in capacity of engineering or quality functions for power distribution equipment. Knowledge of prevailing codes (UL1558, UL891, UL508). Knowledge of power distribution components (breakers, relays, communication devices).
