Lonestar Equipment Solutions is looking for skilled and reliable people to fill our Rental and Repair Technician opening. As a Service Technician you will perform preventive maintenance and minor repairs of equipment in a safe and professional manner while delivering top-notch customer service and meeting deadlines in a fast-paced environment.Responsibilities:
Perform routine inspections, maintenance, preventive maintenance and repair of rental equipment and tools involving mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems. Maintain paperwork/electronic documentation of work performed (work orders) in a complete and timely manner on a daily basis. Maintain safe, clean and organized shop environment. Ensure repair and routine maintenance schedules are completed accurately and efficiently. Ensure all safety protocols are met and followed. Other duties assigned as needed.Requirements:
High School diploma or equivalent Valid driver's license with acceptable driving record 1-2 years of experience repairing/maintaining vehicles and equipment; or trade school graduate Basic understanding of schematics and diagrams Superior customer service, teamwork and verbal/written communication skillsPhysical Requirements:
Regularly works around moving mechanical parts and in warehouse conditions that are not always climate controlled and may include, heat and humidity. Noise level may be loud at times. Must be able to move objects and use abdominal and lower back muscles to provide support over time without fatigue. Constant movement and use of limbs; this position requires good manual dexterity, coordination, and stamina.
