1099 contractor We are looking for a skilled and motivated Fiber Technician to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience installing, maintaining, and repairing cable systems. This role requires someone who is comfortable working both independently and collaboratively, with strong work ethic and a commitment to delivering outstanding customer service.

Responsibilities:

Install fiber optic cabling systems within residential homes Connect homes to the broader network infrastructure for high-speed internet service Run and secure fiber optic cable inside walls, attics, and crawl spaces as needed Set up and configure necessary equipment such as Optical Network Terminals (ONTs), routers, and modems Perform fiber splicing, testing, and signal verification to ensure proper functionality Ensure strong, stable connections throughout the residence for optimal internet performance Troubleshoot and resolve connectivity issues efficiently and professionally Maintain a clean and organized work environment during and after installation Educate customers on system operation and answer basic service-related questions Document installation details and update service records accurately

Requirements:

Valid Drivers License White vehicle or willing to obtain one capable of holding a ladder Ability to use hand tools/ lift and climb 28ft ladder Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Must pass background and Drug Screen At least 18 years old Why Join Us?
