Job Description
The purpose of this class within the organization is to perform installation of equipment including lighting systems, video cameras, traffic radar unit, electronic sirens, and mobile data terminals. Perform vehicle Up-fitting services including public safety and public works vehicles; Installation and removal of all equipment; Install and troubleshoot in-car camera systems, mobile data terminals, and mobile radio systems; Document all services rendered and parts used on Service Ticket for all installations or removals done; Perform related duties as required. Completion of a high school diploma or the equivalent with an additional two years of experience in the repair and maintenance of mechanical and/or electrical equipment; or any combination of relevant education and experience which provides the following: Physical Exam Required Valid Current Driver's License
Critical Infrastructure:
This position has been determined to have close contact with, or control of Critical Infrastructure components. This position is subject to extensive background checks and random drug screening.- No Class B Misdemeanor convictions within last 10 years
- No Class A Misdemeanor, Felony Convictions or Family Violence Conviction
