Duties Conduct comprehensive diagnostics on automatic and manual transmissions using advanced testing equipment and software. Identify mechanical, hydraulic, electrical, and electronic transmission faults with precision. Develop detailed repair plans and communicate findings clearly to team members and customers. Perform repairs, replacements, and rebuilds of transmission components following manufacturer specifications. Utilize learning technology to stay current with evolving transmission systems and diagnostic tools. Maintain detailed records of inspections, repairs, and parts used in each service order. Collaborate with other technicians to ensure efficient workflow and high-quality service delivery. Qualifications Proven experience diagnosing and repairing automotive transmissions in a fast-paced environment. Strong knowledge of vehicle electronic systems, hydraulics, and mechanical components related to transmissions. Ability to interpret technical manuals, wiring diagrams, and diagnostic codes accurately. Excellent communication skills for explaining complex issues clearly to team members and customers. Commitment to ongoing professional development through training in new diagnostic techniques and tools. Familiarity with industry standards, safety protocols, and quality assurance processes. Certification from recognized automotive technician programs or equivalent experience preferred.
