The ideal candidate will have a strong background in electronics, with hands-on experience in troubleshooting and repairing electronic devices, especially related to smoke, soot and water intrusions. This role can involve working with printed circuit boards (PCBs), utilizing various tools and techniques to ensure quality assurance and reliability of electronic products. The Electronics Technician will play a crucial role in maintaining high standards of inventory, invoicing and testing. Applicant must be bi-lingual. Applicant preferred with restoration industry as an Electronics Cleaning/Restoring Technician, but not mandatory. Job is organic and roles may cross-train to additional departments within company. Responsibilities Perform disassembly, testing, and troubleshooting of electronic components and systems. Conduct automated optical inspections to ensure product quality. Engage in debugging processes for malfunctioning devices or systems. Maintain accurate records of repairs, tests, and quality assurance checks. Requirements Proven experience as an Electronics Technician or similar role in the electronics field. Experience with debugging electronic systems and components. Work both in office and in field, onsite at clients property. Utilization of advanced technologies (deionized ultrasonic machinery). Utilize organic cleaning compounds, HEPA-Vacs, ozone, other. Documentation/inventory of contents items via tablet (iPad) software. Repacking of contents in boxes/bags. Perform the Restoring/Cleaning of electronics items.
