This is a hands-on technical role for a calibration professional who enjoys solving complex measurement problems, working independently, and strengthening RF and electrical calibration capabilities. You'll work in a quality-driven environment supporting a wide range of customers and industries across Central Texas. This role offers technical variety, advanced instrumentation, and the opportunity to directly contribute to growing our RF and high-accuracy electrical scope. What You'll Be Doing Calibrate, adjust, and troubleshoot RF, microwave, and electronic test equipment Perform calibrations on: Signal generators Spectrum analyzers Oscilloscopes Power meters Frequency counters Execute precision electrical calibrations on meters, sources, multifunction calibrators, and bench equipment Perform work in compliance with
ISO/IEC 17025 , ANSI/NCSL Z540.3
, internal procedures, and customer requirements Evaluate out-of-tolerance conditions, measurement anomalies, and equipment performance issues Maintain accurate calibration records and technical documentation Support productivity, turnaround time, and quality goals Assist with procedure improvements and expanded technical capabilities Perform occasional local or regional same-day site visits as business needs require Equipment & Experience We Value Strong RF instrumentation background (required) Experience with equipment from Keysight / Agilent / HP, Rohde & Schwarz, Tektronix, and Fluke Background in a commercial calibration lab , military metrology , PMEL , or TMDE environment is highly valued Solid understanding of uncertainty, traceability, and accredited quality systems What We're Looking For 2+ years of relevant calibration experience preferred Ability to troubleshoot independently and make sound technical decisions Comfortable working in a fast-paced, quality-focused lab environment Willingness to travel occasionally for on-site customer support Dependable, detail-oriented, and committed to high technical standards Why Tescom?
