Job Description
We're looking for a detail-oriented Engineering Design Technician to help bring custom designs from concept to reality. In this role, you'll translate customer requirements into functional, manufacturable designs while creating clear documentation and drawings that keep projects moving forward. Key Responsibilities Develop design concepts and functional specifications for custom cases of all kinds Interpret mechanical design requirements and customer specifications to ensure every requirement is accurately reflected in the final design Determine proper size and placement of latches, hinges, and other fasteners Create design basis documents and scopes of work Produce clear basis-of-design documentation Develop accurate AutoCAD drawings Research and apply case engineering best practices Support talent growth and knowledge sharing within the team Required Qualifications Experience in mechanical, packaging, industrial, or manufacturing engineering (professional or educational) Proficiency with MS Office, MS Project, and SolidWorks; familiarity with AutoCAD Excellent oral and written communication skills Strong problem-solving, organizational, and time-management abilities Intellectual curiosity paired with a positive, can-do, team-oriented attitude #IND1
