Join our innovative team as a Junior Product Design & Technical Support specialist, where you will play a vital role in supporting Product Management & Engineering with functional, manufacturable product designs based on identified features, to support materials testing, support manufacturing for quality control testing when called upon, document all findings, and report out to appropriate leadership and teams. To provide technical support to internal teams and external customers, resolve technical issues related to product performance, application and installation. To support and maintain third party certifications such as ICC-ES, UL, ASTM- based approvals. DUTIES Mechanical development Product design from concept to production Create and review CAD models, engineering drawings, specifications Generate technical datasheets, installation guides, and engineering reports Materials testing. May need to create test protocols when called upon Building Code & Specification Awareness and Application Proficient in Solidworks Effective written and oral communication Must be able to travel to various job sites and traverse locations (< 5%) Other duties as assigned
