Job Description

About the Role As an Industrial Electrical Technician, you will serve as a critical member of our maintenance team, ensuring the seamless operation of complex manufacturing systems. You will leverage your expertise in PLC programming and circuit diagnostics to minimize downtime and optimize equipment performance in a high-output production environment. Responsibilities Diagnose and resolve complex electrical and electronic issues, ensuring rapid restoration of production machinery. Program, troubleshoot, and modify PLC logic (Allen Bradley, Modicon, Square D) to enhance process efficiency. Interpret intricate electrical schematics and diagrams to perform precise installations and repairs on 480V systems. Configure and maintain motor drives and industrial control systems to meet operational requirements. Document all maintenance activities and equipment status updates within the computerized maintenance management system (CMMS). Uphold rigorous safety standards, including LOTO procedures, to maintain a secure work environment for all personnel. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to provide technical insights and estimated repair timelines for critical equipment. Qualifications Required Skills Minimum of 5 years of hands-on experience in industrial electrical maintenance. Advanced proficiency in PLC ladder logic programming and component-level circuit troubleshooting. Strong understanding of 480V three-phase power systems and industrial control hardware. Proven ability to read and translate technical schematics into actionable repairs. Valid driver's license and ability to provide basic hand tools. Preferred Skills Associate degree in an electronics-related field or a recognized Journeyman's card. Experience with SCADA systems and HMI interface management. Prior background in high-volume extrusion or injection molding environments. Familiarity with servo motor systems and industrial robotics integration.
