Electrical Technician

Malnove Inc. of Utah, a family-owned, nationwide folding carton manufacturer, seeks a Electrical Technician for its Clearfield, UT based facility. We have an immediate opportunity for an experienced Electrical expert who can ensure that our state-of-the-art-equipment continually operates safely, effectively and efficiently to meet the needs of Malnove's fast paced manufacturing environment. The ideal candidate thinks outside the box to trouble shoot and solve problems. The Job Responsible for repairing broken equipment; performing upgrades to equipment; and finding correct parts to use or, if not available, re-designing to make machine operational.

Daily Functions :

Ensure that company state-of-the-art-equipment including large-format, high-speed printing presses, automated die-cutters, and folding and gluing equipment are operating safely, effectively and efficiently by Reviewing work orders to determine what work needs to be done and prioritize work; and to review work that has been completed. Troubleshooting and repairing equipment. Repairing, replacing and ordering electrical/electronic components. Performing minor PLC programming such as revisions and new process development. Effectively communicating with associates and department managers to resolve equipment repair and replacement issues. The Successful Candidate must have the following experience: 3-5 years of experience in electrical and electron troubleshooting Knowledge of piping and wiring codes Knowledge of PLC programming, hardware and software interfaces (Allen Bradley, Omron, Beckhoff, ABB) Good technical knowledge of AC/DC motors and motor control circuits Working knowledge of hydraulic and pneumatic systems Basic skills in Microsoft Office products and Windows Willingness to work OFF hours and overtime as necessary Does this describe you?
