On-site at various customer sites throughout the Sandy, UT/Salt Lake Valley area and some over nearby states Day to
Day Responsibilities:
Perform all duties in accordance with
ISO 17025
Inspecting, maintaining, calibrating, and repairing mechanical and electronic weighing equipment Complete accurate and timely calibrations on customer sites Working directly with clients throughout the calibration process from the first onsite touch point to completion of the project, including good communication to provide client updates to services needed Ensure all calibration activities comply with industry regulations and quality standards Maintain calibration records and documentation, ensuring all data is accurate and up to date Interact professionally with customers, providing excellent service and support You will be successful in this role if you: Have the ability to learn mechanical and technical skills quickly Can adapt to multiple different work environments and settings Are customer-oriented with excellent communication skills. Someone who is punctual, respectful, and honest with a positive attitude Have excellent attention to detail Have a strong work ethic
Basic Qualifications:
Ability and willingness to travel to customers' locations throughout the Salt Lake Valley (Ogden to Provo) including a few overnight projects throughout the year Able to lift 50 lbs routinely Must have a valid driver's license and a clean driving record Able to climb, kneel, drive, and stand for long periods of time Able and willing to obtain CDL class B (company-paid) Working knowledge of Microsoft Office, especially Excel and Word Excellent written and verbal communication skills Excellent customer service skills Strong organizational and prioritization skills Enjoy the convenience of taking home a fleet vehicle for work use
  • This role requires technicians to store a company vehicle at their residence safely Nice to have: Knowledge of principles, procedures, methods, and techniques in metrology gained through education, or professional experience Knowledge and experience with Electrical, Physical, and/or Mechanical Calibration of equipment Experience working with Manufacturer's Quality Systems Associate's degree in engineering, Electronics or other Technical Fields Technical Degree or Certificate Military PMEL Training Metrology experience Experience with
