In this role, your responsibilities can include the installation, maintenance, and repair of electronic communication systems aboard ships. Key day- to-day tasks include troubleshooting and repairing electronic systems, soldering components, conducting electrical maintenance, and ensuring all communication systems meet operational standards. The role will require collaboration with teams, accurate documentation of repairs, and compliance with safety regulations. MAETS is compliant with the

COMM SYSTEMS US
Coast Guard Electronics Technician with a COMM focus US Army MOS of 94XX Electronics Repair / 25S/U/C Radio, Signals Operators or Maintainers. Position Description This is a full-time position for a Shipboard Electronics (COMMS) Technician, working out of the Chesapeake, VA Office, and will include, on average, 50 - 75% travel both across the US and overseas, nominally 1 - 3 weeks at a time.
Working Environments:
Indoors and outdoors Potentially in temperature extremes (hot or cold) and wet weather Shipyard and/or drydock situations.
Qualifications:
(Not all inclusive) Active SECRET or Top-Secret clearance (or ability to obtain one). Ability to obtain Maritime OSHA 10 Ability to wear a Fall Protection Harness and climb unaided on ship structures Ability to carry tools, equipment, and materials up to 50lbs on your own. US Citizen Valid Driver's License Current possesses or be willing to obtain a US BLUE Passport. General RF theory and system circuit setup Knowledge of basic

Knowledge of basic hand and power tools and their usage. Keen problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
