Job Description BAE Systems is seeking a Miniature/Microminiature (2M) Technician. In this role, you will repair electrical and electronic enclosures, assemblies, subassemblies, and modules.

Functions include:

Wiring and soldering of terminals and connectors, removal and replacement of discrete components and integrated circuits on singlesided and doublesided throughhole technology circuit card assemblies Removal and replacement of conformal coatings on singlesided and doublesided throughhole technology circuit card assemblies Removal and replacement of damaged pads and conductors on singlesided and doublesided throughhole technology circuit card assemblies Removal and replacement of damaged laminate on singlesided and doublesided throughhole technology circuit card assemblies Work is performed at the Surface Combat Systems Center (SCSC) in Wallops Island, VA. SCSC is located on the Eastern Shore of Virginia and provides AEGIS and Ship Self-Defense System (SSDS) combat systems for engineering, testing, training, and certification. Required Education, Experience, & Skills This position requires four (4) years of experience performing corrective maintenance on circuit cards and electronic modules by troubleshooting and repairing the faulty cards and modules. Must be willing and able to perform in a variety of 40-hour work-week configurations, including: 1. Monday-Friday (5 x 8): 1st Shift 2. Monday-Friday (5 x 8): 2nd Shift 3. Variable 4 x 10 shifts that may include weekends (4 days on/3 days off) and may be 1st or 2nd shift 4. Sliding (5 x 8) work weeks (Sunday-Thursday or Tuesday-Saturday) and may be 1st or 2nd shift

•Additionally, these work week configurations may rotate to meet mission requirements. Preferred Education, Experience, & Skills A related U.S. Navy NEC. Experience with U.S. Navy AEGIS and/or SSDS systems. Navy 2M certification. Associates degree in electronic technology or related field.

Pay Information Full-Time Salary Range:

$59023 - $100339 Please note: This range is based on our market pay structures. However, individual salaries are determined by a variety of factors including, but not limited to: business considerations, local market conditions, and internal equity, as well as candidate qualifications, such as skills, education, and experience.
