The Integrated Electronics Technician plays a critical role in the design, testing, installation, and maintenance of complex electronic systems and components. This position requires a deep understanding of integrated circuits, digital and analog electronics, and system troubleshooting to ensure optimal performance and reliability. The technician will collaborate closely with engineering teams to support product development and resolve technical issues efficiently. They will also be responsible for interpreting technical schematics, performing diagnostic tests, and implementing corrective measures to maintain system integrity. Ultimately, this role ensures that electronic systems operate seamlessly within various applications, contributing to the overall success of the organization's technological initiatives.Minimum Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent with completion of an accredited electronics technology program. Proven experience working with integrated circuits and electronic systems in a technical or manufacturing environment. Strong understanding of electronic components, circuit theory, and diagnostic equipment. Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, schematics, and manuals. Basic computer skills and familiarity with electronic testing software.Preferred Qualifications:
Associate degree or higher in Electronics Technology, Electrical Engineering, or a related field. Certification such as IPC Specialist or Electronics Technician Certification (ETC). Experience with surface-mount technology (SMT) and automated testing equipment. Knowledge of programmable logic controllers (PLCs) and embedded systems. Familiarity with safety standards and regulatory compliance in electronics manufacturing.Responsibilities:
Assemble, test, and troubleshoot integrated electronic circuits and systems according to technical specifications. Interpret and analyze electronic schematics, blueprints, and technical manuals to guide repair and installation processes. Perform routine maintenance and calibration of electronic equipment to ensure consistent operational performance. Collaborate with engineers and other technical staff to diagnose and resolve complex electronic system issues. Document all maintenance, repair, and testing activities accurately to maintain compliance with quality standards.Skills:
The required skills enable the technician to effectively assemble and troubleshoot integrated electronic systems by applying knowledge of circuit theory and component functionality. Proficiency in reading schematics and technical documentation ensures accurate interpretation and execution of repair and maintenance tasks. Diagnostic skills are essential for identifying faults and implementing solutions that minimize downtime. Preferred skills, such as experience with SMT and PLCs, enhance the technician's ability to work with advanced manufacturing processes and programmable systems.
