Electronics Technician Acme Technical Group is a leading electronic security installation and service company that provides solutions for commercial clients in the Commonwealth of Virginia. Acme Technical Group LLC is an Equal Opportunity Employer. Position Description The Electronics Technician is responsible for the installation, maintenance, and repair of electronic equipment. We are looking for a reliable technician with excellent skills in repairing and maintaining security electronics. Acme Technical Group is a multi-disciplined system integrator that works with all major CCTV and access control platforms. This is a critical position that will directly contribute to the success of our business. The successful candidate will be able to work autonomously and with minimal supervision. The role requires a strong sense of autonomy and attention to detail. Responsibilities Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair problems on various types of electronic equipment (laptops, monitors, phones, etc.) Perform routine maintenance work on electronic security equipment . Repair or replace parts on electronic equipment when necessary Maintain an organized and clean workspace (permits, tools, parts, etc.) Ensure that all tasks are completed in a timely manner and that quality standards are maintained Demonstrate understanding of technical concepts by researching information on the Internet, reading technical documents, and participating in group discussions Perform quality control checks on electronic equipment Maintain regular contact with customers to ensure good customer relations Contact suppliers or manufacturers when problems arise Qualifications/Requirements •High school diploma or GED required; Bachelor's degree preferred. Degree in electronics or related field preferred. •Knowledge of basic electrical principles and troubleshooting techniques required. Knowledge of basic computer software applications required. Able to work independently with minimal supervision. Able to follow instructions and complete tasks accurately and quickly. Must be able to work with minimum supervision in a fast-paced environment.

$20.00 - $35.00 per hour
