Lead Automotive Technician / Shop Foreman Kings Park Exxon-Springfield VA Full-Time | High-Paying Position | Uncapped Earning Potential Kings Park Exxon is seeking an experienced Lead Automotive Technician / Shop Foreman to take charge of the mechanical repair operation at our brand-new, beautiful, and busy full-service station in Springfield , VA This position is focused on automotive diagnosis and repair. A Virginia safety inspection or emissions license is not required. This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled technician who wants to run their own show, lead a team, and earn based on their ability and production. We need a dependable leader who can take ownership of the repair shop, properly diagnose vehicles, complete quality repairs, support the other technicians, and keep work moving efficiently. Responsibilities Diagnose and repair domestic, Asian, and European vehicles Perform minor and major mechanical repairs Handle engine, transmission, suspension, steering, brake, electrical, cooling-system, and drivability repairs Review repair orders and prioritize the shop's workflow Lead, train, and support other technicians Maintain high standards for workmanship and quality control Communicate repair needs clearly with service advisors Ensure repairs are completed correctly and on time Keep the shop organized, productive, and professional Work as a team to provide excellent customer service Qualifications Strong professional experience as an automotive technician Advanced diagnostic and troubleshooting ability Ability to complete both minor and major repairs Leadership experience or the ability to take charge of a busy repair shop Dependable, productive, organized, and team-oriented Pride in completing repairs correctly the first time Valid driver's license Own professional tools ASE certifications are a plus but not required Virginia safety inspection and emissions licenses are not required What We Offer Excellent pay for the right technician Uncapped earning potential Strong workflow at a busy, full-service location Brand-new, clean, and professional facility Opportunity to lead the mechanical repair operation Freedom to take ownership and run a productive shop Supportive management and a team-focused environment Room to grow as the location continues expanding This position is for a true professional who wants more than just another technician job.
