EXPERIENCE TECHNICIANS / MECHANICS NEEDED!
We are looking for experienced technicians in all equipment types:
Lawn & Garden Techs Large/Small Ag Equipment Techs Setup Techs Purpose:
Performs basic diagnostics, service repairs and maintenance work on customer and/or dealer-owned lawn and garden and big and small agricultural equipment/outdoor power equipment.
Responsibilities:
Performs equipment diagnostics and determines what repairs are needed, if required. Performs equipment repairs as requested by the Service Manager/Shop Foreman. Participates in all job-related training and development. Responsible for completing proper documentation pertaining to the job.
Example:
quotes, parts pick lists, warranty write ups, proper complaint, cause, repair information on each work order. Ability to use computer in diagnostics, documentation, and processing of individual jobs. Prepares all reports and forms required in conjunction with work assignments. Maintains current product knowledge of John Deere and competitive products. Maintains condition of vehicles, inventory, tools, and equipment.
Requirements:
Preferably one year of experience performing service repairs. Ability to perform advanced repairs and maintenance using special tools and equipment following Technical Manual procedures. Advanced knowledge of mechanical, electrical, diesel, and hydraulic systems used in the repair of agricultural equipment. High School Diploma or equivalent. Valid Driver's license.
