Calibration Technician - Dimensional (Entry to Senior Level) Cascade Engineering Services - 4.1 Redmond, WA Job Details Full-time $50,000 - $68,000 a year 7 hours ago Benefits Health insurance 401(k) Paid time off Qualifications Statistics Computer literacy Statistical analysis Algebra Associate's degree Full Job Description Cascade Engineering Services is looking for detail-oriented Dimensional Calibration Technicians, from entry-level to senior-level, to perform precision equipment calibration, maintenance, and data analysis in a laboratory environment. Candidates should have strong measurement, troubleshooting, and documentation skills. Responsibilities Calibrate test equipment in Dimensional and Mechanical labs. Maintain calibration standards. Perform maintenance, troubleshooting and repair of precision equipment. Collect, record, and summarize, data during calibration. Identifying abnormalities, trends and/or predicting future values. Identify equipment out-of-tolerance conditions and perform corrective action by adjustments, component replacement, correction factors, in accordance with Cascade policies and procedures. Other duties and responsibilities as may be assigned. Requirements Minimum AA degree, formal PMEL training, or equivalent. 1-2 years of Calibration/Metrology experience preferred. Entry level is welcome. Experience calibrating Thread Ring and Plug Gages, Gage Blocks, and Pin Page calibration preferred. Experience using Pratt and Whitney Lab Master, or other LMU measurement units preferred. Must be able to perform general mathematical, statistical and algebraical functions. Must possess very good written and oral, communication skills. Computer skills such as use of MS Word, Outlook and Excel. Physical Demands Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds without assistance Occasional standing and bending are required Working Environment Works primarily in an engineering laboratory or manufacturing environment at Cascade and/or customer sites.
