Aircraft Accessory Repair Technician Four Star Accessory Overhaul | Olympia Regional Airport, Tumwater, WA | Full-time | On-site $52,000 to $75,000 per year About Four Star Four Star Accessory Overhaul has spent more than 40 years repairing and overhauling aircraft accessories for some of the biggest names in civil and military aviation. We're an FAA Part 145 Repair Station rated for Accessory Classes I, II and III (Unlimited), we also hold EASA and UK CAA approvals, and Lockheed Martin has approved us as a repair source. About the role You'll inspect, troubleshoot, repair and test aircraft accessories at our shop at Olympia Airport. The work covers pneumatic and bleed air valves, hydraulic pumps and actuators, fuel system accessories, AC and DC power generation, electromechanical actuators, batteries and beacons. Every unit that leaves your bench goes back onto an aircraft, so we need someone who takes pride in getting the repair right and documenting it cleanly. What you'll do Inspect and repair aircraft accessories using component maintenance manuals (CMMs), airworthiness directives and service bulletins Set up test, calibration and troubleshooting equipment to verify airworthiness on each unit you work Identify the replacement parts, tooling and materials each repair needs Complete maintenance records that meet customer requirements, FAA regulations and company procedures Maintain and repair shop support equipment and tooling Track your time on each job accurately and keep your bench and shared shop areas clean Follow our Safety Management System (SMS) procedures on every job What you bring Advanced diagnostic skills on complex electronic circuitry Solid working knowledge of AC and DC electrical systems Strong mechanical ability Basic understanding of hydraulics, pneumatics or electro-mechanical motion control The ability to handle several jobs at once in a shop where priorities shift during the day A professional attitude and a willingness to work through hard problems with your coworkers Interest in building your skills over time, since you'll get more complex units as you grow Schedule and requirements 40+ hours per week, on-site in Tumwater, WA Must pass a pre-employment drug screen and comply with our ongoing drug and alcohol testing program Pay and benefits $52,000 to $75,000 per year, depending on experience Health, dental and vision insurance 401(k) with company match Paid time off How to apply Click Apply and send your resume, and tell us where you've done accessory, component, avionics or electronics repair work before.
