Job Description

Our facilities feature automated CNC machining cells, industrial robotics, advanced inspection systems, and modern manufacturing technologies that support customers across a wide range of industries. As we continue to expand, we're looking for a hands-on Automation & Maintenance Technician to help keep our equipment operating at peak performance. About the Role This is not your typical maintenance position. As an Automation & Maintenance Technician, you'll be responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, and improving the equipment that powers our manufacturing operation. You'll work with CNC machines, robotic automation systems, inspection equipment, and supporting technologies to maximize uptime and reliability. You'll also partner with our R&D and Operations teams to deploy new equipment, support automation initiatives, and help bring innovative solutions from concept to production. What You'll Do Perform preventive maintenance on CNC machines, automation equipment, and facility systems Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and automation-related issues Respond to equipment downtime and maintenance requests from production teams Develop, maintain, and execute preventive maintenance schedules Document maintenance activities, repairs, and equipment history Assist with installation, setup, and commissioning of new equipment and automation systems Support robotic automation cells, machine accessories, and ancillary equipment Work closely with Operations and R&D teams to improve equipment reliability and performance Help develop standard operating procedures and maintenance documentation Identify opportunities for continuous improvement and increased equipment uptime Assist with inventory management of maintenance and spare parts Required Qualifications Strong mechanical aptitude and hands-on troubleshooting ability Experience using hand tools, power tools, and precision measuring equipment Experience with electrical troubleshooting, wiring, crimping, soldering, and multimeter use Comfortable working around industrial machinery and manufacturing equipment Strong computer skills and ability to learn new software systems Ability to independently research problems and develop practical solutions Strong organizational skills and attention to detail Excellent communication skills and ability to work across departments Ability to prioritize work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment Preferred Qualifications Experience maintaining CNC machine tools or similar industrial equipment Industrial maintenance, mechatronics, automation, or manufacturing experience Familiarity with robotics, conveyors, sensors, and automated systems Experience in a job shop or high-mix manufacturing environment Understanding of machining, tooling, and workholding systems Basic programming or scripting experience is a plus Experience installing, commissioning, or supporting production equipment Why PartsBadger?
