An Industrial Automation Technician repairs and maintains the computer-controlled systems and robotic devices used within industrial and commercial facilities to reduce human intervention and maximize efficiency. Their duties require knowledge of electronics, mechanics and computers.

Diagnose electrical, mechanical, pneumatic, and PLC control issues. Perform preventative maintenance to maximize equipment uptime. Support automation upgrades and continuous improvement projects. Read and interpret electrical schematics and mechanical drawings. Maintain maintenance records using a CMMS. Follow food safety, GMP, and Lockout/Tagout procedures. What We're Looking For 5+ years of automation, controls, or industrial maintenance experience. Experience with PLCs (Allen-Bradley preferred), HMIs, VFDs, sensors, servos, conveyors, and pneumatics. Strong electrical and mechanical troubleshooting skills. Ability to work independently in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. Food manufacturing experience is preferred but not required.
