Job Description

Fabrication Operator - full-time, hourly, non-exempt position will have responsibilities including setup, and operation of CNC controlled Cincinnati laser, AMADA punch press, and HAAS mini mill, by performing the following
ESSENTIAL DUTIES
Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and sanitation requirements Perform setup, teardown and preventative maintenance of equipment and tooling. Operate machines such as HASS mill, Cincinnati fiber laser, Amada TPW, to perform a complex series of progressive operations to meet precise tolerance and requirements. Operate Apex commercial finisher Arrange and secure tooling. Mount, align and secure holding fixtures. Manually cycle machine through operation sequence to check fixture and work positions, tooling, clearances, speeds, feeds, etc. Adjust machine or console to correct deviations. Manage time and resources to ensure equipment is ready to always run during production. Use a variety of precision measuring instruments to check part quality. Support data collection and continuous improvement activities Crosstrain with others in the department. Operate lift truck, hand truck, or hoist to move product. All other duties as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS FOR THIS POSITION INCLUDE
Mechanical skills necessary for equipment set up and operation. In depth knowledge of equipment functions and the ability to assist in troubleshooting both electrical and mechanical problems. 2+ years' experience with set up and operation of CNC controlled laser, punch presses, and mills, with the ability to perform program adjustments using machine code. Familiar with CNC programming such as Master Cam and nesting software such as Cincinnati Pro. Progressive die experience a plus Ability to identify parts and inspect cut edge quality. Adjust as necessary per mechanical part drawings. Computer knowledge & ability for data entry and navigation of Microsoft applications, such as Word, Excel, & Dynamics AX. Experienced operating a forklift and hand truck Self-motivated and able to work independently and in a collaborative, dynamic environment. Good verbal and written communication skills. Demonstrates Quality & Dependability. Ability to handle packages of 50 to 75 lbs. on a regular basis Ability to be on your feet in a physically demanding job for an 8-hour shift This position will start out M-F, 8 am - 4:30 with the possibility of overtime. The position will transition to 10 am - 6:30 pm shift after 6-month training period. Excellent benefit package including 13+ days of PTO & Holidays in 2026, 16 days
