Facility Mechanic (AM Shift) Brown County, WI - 3.0 Green Bay, WI Job Details Full-time $26.73 an hour 1 day ago Benefits Health insurance Dental insurance Flexible spending account Employee assistance program Vision insurance Loan forgiveness Life insurance Pet insurance Qualifications Employee relationship building Driver's License Full Job Description Job Summary Under supervision, performs repair, routine and preventive maintenance on all facility equipment insuring that all systems and equipment remain operational on a consistent basis. 7am-3:30pm Monday-Friday Must be able to work Saturdays Essential Duties Performs basic electrical troubleshooting and repairs. Installs, troubleshoots, diagnoses, rebuilds and repairs all types of mechanical equipment. Performs P.M. duties as scheduled. Installs, troubleshoots and repairs air conditioning and refrigeration systems and all related equipment. Operates, monitors, adjusts, cleans, troubleshoots, diagnoses, inspects and tests boilers and related equipment. Installs, troubleshoots and repairs plumbing systems. Performs carpentry involving the repairs, construction and modification of offices, building structures and other office equipment. Reads and interprets blueprints, sketches and specifications. Maintains and operates grounds related equipment such as snowplows, snowblowers, lawnmowers, etc. Prepares and maintains required reports and forms. Assists in budget preparation for maintenance operation. Performs related functions as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications Required Education and Experience:

High School Diploma, plus 3 years of maintenance experience; or any equivalent combination Of education, training and experience which provides the necessary knowledge, skills, and abilities.

Licenses and Certifications:

Valid Wisconsin Driver's License Must be able to pass FBI background check process Knowledge, Skills & Abilities Knowledge of methods, materials, and equipment required for the maintenance, alteration and repair of buildings and facilities. Knowledge of basic welding techniques. Ability to work independently. Ability to diagnose and troubleshoot with the use of diagnostic instruments. Ability to read and work from blueprints, diagrams and service manuals. Ability to work off ladders, scaffolds and lifts. Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships and work cooperatively with administration, staff and the public. Ability to follow written and oral instructions. Ability to work the required hours of the position. Lifting 75 pounds maximum with frequent lifting and/or carrying of objects weighing up to 40 pounds. Intermittent standing, walking, sitting, and driving. Using hand(s)/feet for repetitive single grasping, fine manipulation, pushing and pulling, and operating controls. Frequent bending, twisting, squatting, climbing, reaching, and grappling. Communicating orally in a clear manner. Distinguishing sounds at various frequencies and volumes.
