Shift:
Tuesday-Friday 5:00 AM - 3:00
PM Starting Wages:
$20.85/hour What You'll Do As a Product Repair Technician , you'll perform a wide variety of technical duties to troubleshoot and repair complex mechanical and electrical products . You'll use your hands-on skills and mechanical knowledge to bring our products back to life — ensuring they meet the highest standards of performance and quality.
Key Responsibilities:
Read and interpret blueprints, basic drawings, and schematics Clean, detail, and perform cosmetic paint touch-ups on repaired units Perform final packaging of repaired units and accessories Use hand and pneumatic tools to complete repair tasks Operate electrical and mechanical diagnostic equipment Identify necessary parts and materials needed for repairs Complete all repairs in compliance with company quality standards Properly escalate product issues when necessary Respond to written and verbal communication requests Participate actively in the department 5S program (Sort, Set, Shine, Standardize, Sustain) Accurately report work performed and maintain documentation Demonstrate knowledge and adherence to OSHA safety regulations Perform other duties as assigned Requirements High School Diploma or equivalent Minimum of three months of experience repairing mechanical products in a manufacturing environment Effective written and verbal communication skills Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities with the ability to implement countermeasures Intermediate PC proficiency, including ERP business systems, Outlook, Excel, and Word Understanding of the repair process and manufacturing workflow Basic reading and math skills Ability to perform basic manufacturing assembly and testing tasks Team-oriented with the ability to collaborate effectively Demonstrates a positive, professional, and dependable work ethic Why Join Generac? Physical Demands:
