Requirements of the Automation Technician 4+ years of hands-on manufacturing or automation technician experience in a production environment Strong troubleshooting skills with automation, robotics, part feeding, PLCs, pneumatics, and related equipment Working knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems Basic understanding of PLC software and ladder logic Experience with robot programming and startup is a plus Injection molding and/or medical device manufacturing experience is a plus 3D SolidWorks CAD experience is a plus Spanish/English bilingual skills are a plus Reliable attendance and punctuality Responsibilities of the Automation Technician Troubleshoot, maintain, and improve automated manufacturing equipment and robotics Lead and assist with the build, installation, startup, and implementation of internal automation equipment Program robots and support robot startups Perform preventive maintenance on a variety of robotic and automated equipment Identify opportunities to automate processes and recommend practical improvements Work with Process Engineering to develop reliable, efficient, and cost-effective automation solutions Manage automation projects from planning through completion, including timelines and documentation Communicate project progress, issues, and accomplishments to management and relevant teams Recommend capital improvements and equipment upgrades Assist with developing and training team members as needed 1st shift, DIRECT HIRE Pay is $90,000 - $110,000 annually, based on experience
